A bunch of good recruiters, but lack of good, consistent game day coaching! So what should Lyke do if this year ends with a dud, like we all anticipate and start the 2021 season with a much younger team and inexperienced QB? I personally would hate to lose there recruiters that made inroads in places unforseen to Pitt like Virginia, Georgia and Florida. But 2021 may be a repeat and there's no way you could keep Narduzzi. If I'm H Lyke, I promote Bates from within, hire a young innovative offensive mind and recruit QBs who can put stress on the defense with his feet. This option let's Bates keep his defense and make it totally the way he likes it to be and not be bound to man to man with no safety help EVER! And the offense gets a fresh start with a young guru who can call a game that doesn't make you scratch your head with nails every Saturday!
FYI.. my second hire would be an OL coach
