Incredible the upgrade in talent the room has seen, guessing he will start for a year or two until Whitehill is ready
Is it my imagination or is there going to be a lot of competition in that room?
Cream rises to the top! The best will wrestle regardless of class, in most circumstances.

He might wrestle this year but only if they want Whitehill to take a redshirt and let some of the current heavyweight talent get a year older. Whitehill will beat him out for the spot if it's only about who is a better wrestler.
Well...this might be the first time the design of the machine shop...err...I mean the wrestling room at Pitt is an advantage.
With all those Mr Stay Puft staggering around, having two side separated by that wall might keep some of those little guys alive.
Hopefully Gavin and Co can turn one of them into a lean-er and mean fighting machine. We have been spoiled for the last two years.

The biggest example, literally, was Chris Taylor, who weighed something like 465. But Chris was not only huge, but an outstanding wrestler - a two-time national champion. Regrettably, he died at age 29, presumably because his heart couldn't sustain his enormous size.
He also lost in Olympic finals against an all time great Russian Hwt.
Another large Hwt was Tab Thacker from UNC. Around 450#. He wrestled Lou Banach in NCAA finals 1983. Banach (215#) beat him. That Match is on U tube.
