I'd like to thank everyone that made this such a success. I think the banner has over 2,000 signatures. People were starting to have a hard time finding places to sign. I'll post more pictures and comments later, but for now let me say that this was very meaningful to James Conner's mother. Again, thank you Panther Nation for coming together to support a great young man.

Nice, nice job Consultant Panther. I could see you holding it up down below us and we yelled down to you but you know how that goes. They even announced were you were in the Alumni tent so people could go over. We looked for you, probably too late, as you know it wasn't easy to find a gate marked "6". Congrats to you for all you did. You fill us with pride.

I don't believe they showed on TV that JC was the honorary captain of the game and went on the field for the coin toss as the crowd chanted "Conner, Conner, Conner." And they interviewed JC on the sideline early in the game on the scoreboard and he got a great ovation from everyone, Navy side included.

Thank you Consultant Panther. I was one of the ones who signed the banner as you were taking it down and rolling it up -- and I can attest that it was tough to find even the smallest blank area to sign.

You did a great job for James C. and Pitt fans.

Go Pitt.

Thank you for your role in putting this together.

My husband and I were the first two signatures on the banner. I was so happy when it was all filled up. All of this means a great deal to the person who is undergoing the ordeal. Don't forget everyone, to keep sending cards to him.

I don't know if you got a chance to see it but I got home last night just in time to see the sports on the channel two news. They showed your banner and talked to Conner's mother about it. She certainly did seem to be touched by the gesture.

Thanks for letting me know, I don't live in Pittsburgh, so I didn't see that.

Thanks and sorry for the gate 6 confusion. My tweets said Gate 6 of the gold parking lot. When Pitt spread the info, they left out the parking lot part, There's a big sign on Taylor Avenue that says Gate 6 Gold Parking Lot.
