There was a rumor yesterday afternoon that he was expected to pick Rutgers, which drew some skepticism, I have to admit. But given the way this whole recruitment has transpired, I can't say that anything would surprise me at this point. I've talked to people on a bunch of different sides of this situation, and nobody really has any idea what's going on.
I mean, I'm sure somebody knows something. But sources all over the place - sources who should know something - don't seem to really have a read on it.
So I don't know what to expect at this point. I heard confidence from Pitt-adjacent sources in the last week or so, but it's hard to know what to think right now. Hopefully we get something conclusive soon. Jackson would be a very good add, of course.
