listed on the depth chart - I imagine he sees some time at wr this week.
I saw him in the participation report. Do you know if it was at wr or only on special teams? He saw time last week.

saw Vardzel, walk on freshman receiver on with the offense several times
Mathews has shown something when given a chance. Butler could always block and has started to contribute as a receiver. Wayne played QB in HS, but looks like a smooth, very under control athlete. If he has hands, I think he will be good.We are running a lot of guys at the WR spots so far. It is becoming a crowded position group with nobody outside of Mack and Ffrench really standing out yet.
I believe it was the drive where Davis fumbled, but our receivers, for a few consecutive players, were something like Wayne, Vardzel, and Butler-Jenkins. It was a pretty dead giveaway that we were running.
sorry to reply to my own message. But, so many receivers getting playing time, including a walk on, has to look good for recruits. If you're good enough, you get on the field regardless of your recruiting rankingsaw Vardzel, walk on freshman receiver on with the offense several times
All solid players. Just waiting for one of them to blow up and be a difference-maker like Antonio Bryant did back under Walt.Mathews has shown something when given a chance. Mathews when used properly stands out!We are running a lot of guys at the WR spots so far. It is becoming a crowded position group with nobody outside of Mack and Ffrench really standing out yet.
Very solid all-around player. Certainly not a spectacular, explosive playmaker.Mathews when used properly stands out!
Other than the blocked punt. And the hurdle. And the TD pass.Very solid all-around player. Certainly not a spectacular, explosive playmaker.
