Jeffress line

I understand that recruiting and recruiting rankings are a gigantic crapshoot, but highly ranked players like Drumgoole and Jeffress have come here and chipped more paint off the rims than anything else. I do think Jeffress would have fit really well on the old Pitt teams because he seems very committed to defending, but I guess my question is how is it possible to be ranked so high and be such a poor offensive player?
Confidence?

I have been really hard on the kid, but agree with some that think it is in there. He is hurting us now, but by the end of his career, I think he finds it.

Question is, is that good enough?

IMO the Jeffress situation
is exacerbated due to the
fact that the talent level on
the team is so bad, that he
HAS to play when he should
be a substitute being brought
along slowly.

Jeffress did not play well on offense so Im not disagreeing with you. Jeffress had 1 turnover on a team that cant stop turning the ball over.

The BPM, not plus minus, but the BPM plus minus efficiency stats read as follows,

Eze- 32 minutes played, -11
Santos- 9 minutes played, -16

Jeffress- 33 minutes played, -5

The first 2 players were by far the problem in this game.
One of these three was supposedly a top 100 recruit. Playing his second year at this level. The others aren't.
