Hope you are right. A recruiting “Twitterer” recently suggested he would commit to a school by the end of the month but although not a 100% Pitt lock—Pitt was still considered the leader.

I believe Pitt will have a top 15 class just 2 years removed from an 0-18 season.

As it stands right now, if we get Jeffress it'd give us the #12 class in the country per the 247 composite, right between Texas Tech and Virginia. I'm not sure who anyone else in that band is still in on for 2020, but that's how it would stand right now.
Those posters are hiding under their rocks hoping Jeffress picks someone else.

I don’t know about that. From my look, Marquette or Michigan State will leap us if they get Karim Mane, even if we get Jeffress. Outside of that, there aren’t too many outstanding pieces left on the board for the big boys to grab that would make too much of an impact in the rankings. I’d feel differently if transfers counted, but there’s pretty slim pickings left amongst the high school ranks.
I'll gladly argue whether Pitt's class if 15, 16 18 or 20, seeing as where we were a short year and a half ago.
