Supposedly in concussion protocol. Must've happened in practice. Didn't seem like anything happened in the NC State game.

I'm guessing Jamie will throw C. Jones in there a lot today, don't know if he's even fully recovered from his elbow injury yet. May even see some Artis at the 4, but I'm hoping this just means less time on the bench for Artis and Young. That or maybe some playing time for Luther. He's clearly overmatched by anyone he goes up against, but IMO he still produces fairly well considering that.

Believe it or not Luther has outplayed some of the regulars in recent games. Maybe because he wants to prove himself out there and values his opportunities.

Agree. I thought the team showed basically no effort whatsoever Tuesday night. At the very least, you can not say that about Luther. Kid hustles as much or more than anyone else on the team.

Yep. He was a rare bright spot in an otherwise awful game. You could see the effort. Maybe he's outmatched most of the time but he plays hard all the time.

Personally I think he deserves more chances than ANO. In ANO I see an athletic post player who can block shots, but is basically a liability in the rebounding department. Luther is not the best at man-to-man coverage defensively, but has more range offensively and I think he's a much better rebounder. I'm okay with Maia seeing a good bit of PT, but when he's on the bench I wouldn't mind seeing Luther come in first. They could really play him at the 5 or even put Mike Young there and Luther at the 4.

Now if Jeter is available against Clemson, he's actually been the big man on the court lately when the subs come in. That's fine with me too, but I think clearly all these guys are better options than ANO. Even with the few spurts of brightness ANO has shown, I just think his lack of rebounding kills us when he's in. Not to mention the dumb fouls he always seems to commit.

Plus Luther is a threat sometimes to drain a 3. But I agree with your points.
