JF going after Pitt's recruits

Chris just tweeted that PSU offered two of Pitt's current commitments.

The first one responded and said "no thanks".

Then the second one responded too. "No thanks".

He also offered Watts last week, who declined an invitation to visit; and verballed to Pitt a few days later.

They are now getting a visit from a Minnesota WR verbal. Maybe he'll have luck with that one. I don't think JF's WR coach has abandoned him yet.

Committing to a coach who's probably going to be fired after next year is a risky proposition. If you really like the school then go ahead, but if you're committing b/c b/c you like the coach then I'm not sure I understand.

This has been a ongoing thing with PSU. They don't want to "lose a recruit" to Pitt so if the kid isn't a probable commit they don't offer. You think they didn't want boyd, Jacobson or dorin dickerson? those guys had offers from just about everywhere but not from PSU. JF has just continued the tradition.

Usn I'm not going to get in a discussion on Franklin's recruiting because I have to get to bed.I do know that he's got some good kids going there including 2 five star guys.He's also still ahead of Pitt in the ranking but it will be close after you get Hamlin.He lost 3 coaches and only went 7-6 but he's still close to a top 20 class.I'd say the train hasnt wrecked yet!!!It might but PSU is still on the tracks as of now.I'm telling you guys get him now not later because he's a persistent cuss.
