Any HC who spends/wastes time trying to poach players from another team just to get at the other coach is about as bright as an English teacher who has bad grammar, cant spell, and spends time on a message board telling everyone he wasn't bright enough to get a real job

Please, take this the right way not the wrong way, that is one of the most asanine rationalizations I have ever heard in my entire life.

The political damage in the past 24 hours of Franklin thrashing about offering a bunch of Pitt commits or "asking if they're committed" and telling them that if they'll commit to PSU they'll offer them has been kind of bad. Franklin needs a few W's before signing day now because he's taking L's all over the place.

Exactly. A coach who has been exposed by the media as not being able to coach over the past few years and has fans questioning if he is the right coach for them is going to waste time (and cause even more potential hits to perception) by "not really" offering players from other teams, like Pitt, only to piss off the coach is the biggest PSU excuse I can think of.

Throw in the fact that he has had several decommitments over the past few weeks, if he was doing what the poster is suggesting, then it's no wonder players and coaches are running from him.

Bob, it ain't working and Jimmy problem his coaching is not working, he flipped 3 Pitt Recruits last year promising they would play, all three, made no Depth Chart?

I actually had an English teacher back in the stone ages who had bad grammar and couldn't spell. And a reading teacher who couldn't read worth a crap. And that's the truth.

Hi guys raining here in Fla so I can't take any bp this afternoon.If you guys think coaches don't take great pleasure in taking shots at each other you don't know coaches.Just like the act going on at Mich,I think its great press for Hardball.What he's doing.In a long run is helping all teams by adding and subtracting recruits every day.I think his mission is to show the NCAA their loi is a joke,so change it.He's showing them that an early signing period is needed to avoid this chaos!Hardball is helping everyone in a long run and eating Franklins lunch while doing it.How does Franklin get anyone to go to PSU with his resume???Like you guys I don't understand it!By the way my God I was History not English and a good one I might add!

Yes, I know. I went to Edinboro, PSAC and Waynesburg, PAC. PSAC is DII and PAC is DIII. I was making a joke that even DII players want nothing to do with Franklin and now he is going to DIII schools to flip because DIII doesn't offer scholarships.
