I haven't heard much about how Jared Jones-Smith has performed at practice, but I saw that he measured 37" arms and a wingspan of 87 3/8", both tops at the event. That is big even for a person his size (7'3"+ wingspan at 6'6"). I don't think that alone will get him drafted but it can't hurt. Arm length is a dubious indication of success, but that sentiment is out there, especially so at tackle so it could help how teams view him as a project.

Measurables are nice, unfortunately he was a pylon at right tackle all year. Not sure that knee ever got to 100%. The edge guys in the NFL are athletic freaks, JJS would have to be a whole lot better and a whole lot quicker and stronger than he looked this past season to hold his own at the next level.

Agreed. I didn't see an NFL player last year. But someone might see that size and at least take him on as a project.
