Just saw this on Twitter. Jordan Addison tweeted @Espn_Jordan “Time for a change”. He posted this at 2:43am and I know it could mean anything and everything. But you have to hope it’s not anything Football and Pitt related. There are 8 comments from ppl football related. Just thought I’d share. We absolutely can’t lose him.

I dont know about PSU but I would expect any Jordan Addison-like freshman talent to transfer up. Schools like Pitt will serve in the same capacity as JUCOs with this free transfer rule. We all knew this was coming. Blue bloods will recruit the Addison's of the world. Pitt can go out and recruit some top G5 WRs who are looking to transfer up. Its the wild west

I think we need to remember that these are teenagers/young adults and that not every tweet/snap/instapost is about football. Just like everyone else, he may have a lot going on in his life right now. I wouldn’t go bombarding his social media when it could be something completely unrelated.

Maryland just had 6 players enter the transfer last week. Something’s not right.
If you have a QB that gets you the ball and are putting up big stats, then the NFL will take notice. He is playing in a Power 5 conference. It makes no sense to roll the dice and possibly be the 3rd or 4th WR at a top 5-10 school. There are only about 5-10 schools that have a legit shot to win it all.
3 schools with another 6 to 8 schools being able to when everything aligns.

That’s a fair point but if the transfer market opens up without penalty you’d be awfully naive to think schools wouldn’t come sniffing around after a true freshman has a pretty nice year. I have no clue what Addison’s tweet meant but this is big business. Schools will poach talent if they’re able and they think the kid will help.
I think a lot of schools would like Addison. I don’t think a school like Alabama or Ohio state would care one way or the other and are fine with what they are doing now.
Pitt would look at slot of other programs freshmen too. Thankfully a portal is in place to let schools know who is looking to leave and who is not. Hopefully the NCAA enforces this.
If Addison puts his name in the portal, I’d be disappointed.
Thought he kind of disappeared the last couple couple games. Thinking due to nursing an injury or just out of gas in meaningless games after enrolling in Jan. Hope so.
I think him and turner played same position. I’m sure there were packages where they both were in but if turner was in a lot of times Addison was not.
It is jan3rd. People do talk about personal changes. People over 20 call them resolutions. Only difference is people over 20 don’t post them on social media.
