Embarrassed reading this thread. Jurkovec and Mike White meant absolutely no slams at Pitt. We all know Jurkovec's original recruiting he dreamed of being a Domer. But in this transfer, he looked at the best situation and path to being a starter as soon as possible along with some familiarity with the coaches. Pitt had the latter, but with Pickett returning, didn't offer an immediate starting gig like BC did.

So....come on man..........stop taking offense to everything.

If Jurkovich was that good he would have stayed at Notre Dame and the. Started for two years. He was going to get beat out next year also. He transfers to a place where he was guaranteed to start. Good for him but don’t tell me he is going to be in the NFL The Dinucci thing is what it is. I don’t think he has a strong enough arm but he made the cowboys roster so good for him also. My guess is Pickett makes an NFL roster next year also.

Agree. I don’t like Kelly or ND but Jurk comes off as a jerk...like so many kids he blames everyone else for his lack of success.

Pickett has developed some, but Jerkovic is better right now.

Phil couldn't beat out 3 star recruit Ian Book for the starting job.

He didn't want to sit again this year.

4 star QB Drew Pyne is a true freshman at ND right now.

Incoming 4 star QB recruit Tyler Buchner will be at ND next year. He is highly touted and will likely be the ND QB of the future.

ND also has sophomore QB Brendan Clark with four years of eligibility remaining. ND likes him a lot.

Phil would have had a tough battle going forward at ND.

I think that he will do well at BC and wish him well.

This is what I do not understand. ND is always loaded with QB talent like that yet none of them ever develop.

Can anyone tell me the last QB Kelly developed into a star?
