I expected it too.As for winning out, I'd settle for taking 3 of the 4, but more realistically, we go 2-2. We are facing teams with better athletes than ours in the second half of the season than we did the first.I was expecting it all week. I think ND is a legitimate top 10 team and likely will be in the playoff.
That being said, I see that UNC layed 66 on Duke, ( had 59 by the end of the third.) Pitt has a chance of winning out. And I think that will happen.
Hell on the very first play of the second half we got called for an illegal substitution. Duzzi was PISSED at Chaney. That's inexcusable. It appears that the Pitt offense is going through a little paralysis-through-analysis in the first half. Thinking too much and being a bit too conservative instead of executing. They do quite a bit better in the second half the past few games. Hope we see them string two halves together.
I'm with you my friend. Nobody left on the schedule is anywhere near as good as Iowa, North Carolina, or Notre Dame, three really, really good football teams. Also make no mistake about it, Narduzzi is a phenomenal coach, that's why we even won the games we did. Pitt does not have very much talent. They are well coached and play hard. They have some kids that are special talents, but not near as much as the Notre Dames of the world.I was expecting it all week. I think ND is a legitimate top 10 team and likely will be in the playoff.
