That's because they aren't the same age, the kids in line are in a younger age bracket. Andy Reid was 13, the kids behind him are 8-9 years old.

Granted Reid was still huge for his age, some say he was 6'2 (which I find hard to believe considering he is listed at 6'3 now) when the average 13-year old is only like 5'1.
