Pickett made some boneheaded plays. Taking sacks that he shouldn't, catching his own deflected pass for a 12 yard loss

Pitt's defensive sans a few like Weaver and Indowu are Charmin Soft. Really Sad.

To me this is the major problem. Do a good job and it doesn't matter that the Refs were UNC fans(and they were horrible) because all it does is make the game a little closer. Pitt still wins 35 to 24 if they could cover anyone. Its also the biggest issue which hasn't changed in 4 years under PN. the fumble ref's etc etc can be cleaned up. But the pass defense isn't changing!
