KC Chiefs fans boo moment of unity/silence

Whitlock pretty much nails it. A must-read for our board SJWs.

And this is exactly the problem. People lumping people together that shouldn’t be lumped together. The guys on the field aren’t the looters. They are entertaining he crowd for effs sake.

Its exactly why some of those folks are likely racist to begin with. “All the same people”, right?

The one bit of hope I have. I don’t think it was *that* many people booing. It just happened to be during a moment of silence. So the 90% that didn’t boo probably weren’t going to cheer over them out of respect. But when they were “done” the cheers drowned them out .

LMAO!!!!!! This from a guy who LIVES on the locker room board. I haven’t posted on the locker room board for awhile and won’t be in the future. This board is the Black Hole for old, miserable people that bicker and bitch all day. Just stay over here and don’t infect the sports message boards with the political BS.

Coming from one of the biggest d bags.... next up.. loser sauce.

But it’s not “politics” to me. And I doubt it is to the players

I don’t look at things through a political lens. Nobody is saying who to vote for or what policies to support. To them it’s something that impacts them and likely many people they Know who still might be in difficult circumstances.

People that show outrage for that....especially when the flag was all but taken out of it...Doesn’t make a lot of sense. It was 2 minutes

It is politics - or social justice bullshit - or whatever else you want to call it.
The bottom line is no fans pays to watch or hear this BS. Fans enjoy sports for the escape. Fans don't want sports polluted with this crap.

Where on earth do you get that? And what was so disgraceful?

(I’m actually not asking rhetorically. I can’t believe how some of these propaganda sites and narratives are infiltrating educated people)

But anyway....they played a song black people like (after all, that’s 85% of the players). Then the National anthem. Everyone on the field stood except for one cat. Then they locked arms and stood for unity.

Honestly, if you can’t respect the players and the NFL trying to find a more inclusive way, I don’t know what to tell you guys. You just have to come to grips the fact it was never about the flag for you. And that might take some soul searching.

I can say that I never liked the forum Kap chose because it was devicive and I’d rather stand. But if you also felt that way, nothing about this pregame should have bothered you.

At this point for me I'm done with most pro sports and lib entertainmen.
I was a big fan of DeNiro.. I wouldn't cross the street to see him.

If the NFL allows it then I don't see the big deal. But it's absolutely injecting politics into the entertainment experience. They are protesting what they believe to be systemic government racism. So, I have no problem either with fans expressing their displeasure.

Last year the NFL banned the cowboys from honoring the Dallas police who were killed. Yeah this isn’t about politics

Again..........I am fine with this form of peaceful protest. On both sides. The players had their rights to what they did, the fans, the paying customers had their rights to do what they did. No one group is wrong here.

thats not reality. If you disagree with the mob you’re shouted down as a racist. see drew brees. He’s now so fearful of the Mob that he’s putting the name of a Criminal on his helmet to make sure the mob doesn’t come after him.

same goes to the fans who booed. That’s Not my thing but those people are automatically Being Labelled as racist because they are tired of being lectured by privileged wealthy athletes

I am talking about me. And I totally agree with you on Brees, what he said was not even the bit disrespectful. And the people who are labeling those who booed as "racist" are the natural reaction to the people blaming the players for doing what they did. So what. People disagree. People are wrong. But both sides were right in doing what they did, at least in the sense of "peaceful expression of their 1st amendment rights".

A lot of people don’t support BLM. Are you saying BLM is not a political organization? Where does the money go that is donated to BLM? Answer those questions and then ask again if it is political. NFL can support whoever they want, as well as people can reject the NFL’s support of BLM.

Not good a good start. You would think under the circumstances the ratings would have been a lot higher

will be interesting to see how the rest of the year goes

When was the last time the NFL opened opposite an NHL playoff game, an NBA playoff game and 12 MLB games?

We're talking about this on the 19th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9/11? We're talking about support for a domestic terrorist group called BLM when 19 years ago thousands of Americans and others died as a result of a terrorist attack on the U.S.? I remember when people were saying we'll never forget. Apparently either people forgot or they're very stupid and ignorant and don't care about America. Just the thought of a bunch of no-neck, no brain idiot jocks kneeling for the national anthem as a demonstration of support for what they call "social justice" and which has turned into terrorism makes me sick.

Stupid jocks should just STFU and go play with their balls and leave people alone. Their statements and demonstrations are meaningless and should be ignored.

I totally would prefer no politics in sports. But if athletes insist on protesting it would be good if they weren’t protesting for a false political organization that is extremely harmful to us citizens.

Since when can't you call a collaborator a loser and a demean him? I know many Vietnam Vets who called McCain much worse than a loser.
I’m guessing they didn’t call him a draft dodger though.

Nope. That's something they called Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

Another reason we're screwed either way.
