I hope that the new coach connects with Kennedy Catholic HS immediately. Saw them play last night and their 2 D1 players, presently juniors, are being recruited hard by big schools. The big guy, Tchiebwe, is a beast and Pitt could really use him. He's a wide body with a nice touch and runs the floor well. He had 30 and 18 last night, with 6 dunks and 10 blocks. A Kennedy 'authority' told a friend that he doesn't think Pitt will get these guys. One of the reasons is what went down with Konate who went to WVU. He wanted Pitt at first, but was ignored later. So, I don't think Pitt is highly thought of there, despite their being about 60 miles from the city. In addition, word has it that they have 3 'recruits' coming in next year, 6'9 and taller from Mali. I hope the new coach takes notice immediately.
