Pitt has trailed in the 2nd Half of 4 of our 6 ACC wins this season. Tino did not have 1 2nd Half comeback in his career. If my memory is correct, we went somerhing incredible, like 6 or 7 years between 2nd Half comeback wins. I think the streak was from Wanny Home vs UConn 2009 through Narduzzi at Syracuse 2015

Anybody got anything bad to say about STull ?

Other than his family (mainly his trash sister) trashing western PA all the time saying the only reason they would ever move to WPA is so Bill could play in a pass happy offense and get college looks. They were obviously ballers and MUCH better than what WPA had to offer. Also, his parents then made it clear on ESPN what they thought of Pitt fans who didn’t genuflect to their son...even when he sucked.

So no, not really, nothing bad to say about Bill.

I have often said that through 3 Quarters Tino wasn't a bad QB. He wasn't great but he was solid. In the fourth he became horrible.

My lingering Stull memory (beyond the stupid Sun bowl, which is on the OC not him) ... Pitt got a miraculous reprieve with a fumble recovery in the NC State game and he was given the ball to win the game inside the 15 or so. They really hadn't stopped us much the whole game. Optimal setup for a glorious win.

I still remember Stull's 4th down pass of that debacle of a possession ... delivered 10 rows into the stands beyond the end zone. Gag job of the ages.

So yeah, he 'won' 10 games once, deserves some credit but wasn't like he was instrumental in em. And as described, with a bit more intestinal fortitude maybe we'd have won more.

And if that sounds mean spirited, I haven't forgotten his crappy family's antics either. Never go against the family. Not in public interviews anyway.

Remember earlier in the season how we would be smoked after halftime and the complaints about lack of adjustments? Well....this too has passed.

Still and Tino where 1 in the same to me. Serviceable enough. The difference between the 2 was Still had a better supporting cast and stability in coaching. Toni still had a good supporting cast but the furthest thing from stability in coaching or systems.

Fact of the matter, despite some memorable moments and much more potential, Kenny has to prove move before he can move ahead of both in my mind.

Stull was better. Tino had 0 QB instincts
