With the commitment of 3LB's, vuk is saying that other LB's are being told that the ship's for LB's are full....unless it's an elite level prospect.

I always viewed Robinson as a LB and a damn good one imo. Does this mean the door is shut on him, or does he project to a different position?

Honestly we don't know that. One prospect told Vuk that Pitt told him that. That doesn't mean that Pitt is telling all LBs that.

I agree with the!

Our recruiting dynamic is changing. We are running out of ships for more positions thanot in the past

I would think we would still take some OLBs, especially if they are potential "Money" backers. Think it's money, whatever is opposite of the star position. We seem to have that position covered.. Of course another inside backer too..

If Nathan Proctor, Ellis Brooks, or Kenny Robinson want to commit I guarantee they would find room for them........Hell if by some miracle David Adams changed his mind a spot would become available

Agree with most of those names. I would Robinson is on a shorter leash, although from what I hear our coaches are really high on him

Not sure Robinson would be good enough to keep a spot open for. If he wants to be at Pitt, he should hurry.

He was cutting his list down to 5 this past weekend.....then didn't.

The kid is pretty athletic and has nice hands. I think he's an ideal OLB, but imo is talented enough to play a TE role.

Not too mention I get uneasy when a florida commits without making a visit to the campus at least onnce......there is no guarantee Albert Tucker ends up here

Just to be clear, I think Robinson seems like a great player. I know making decisions are tough, but he has had plenty of time. This recruitment reminds me of Aaron Mathews the past couple years. Clearly the kid likes Pitt and Pitt likes him, but he is getting wooed by others, and the intrigue is there to go see other places. In the meantime, the cupboard is getting full and there may not be room for him.
If we arent in his top 5, that means we said no ship left. I can see the same thing happening though, last minute signing on LOI day

define "plenty of time" to make a decision.......

Lives in Pittsburgh has had plenty of time. I am afraid this ship has sailed. Note to local kids Pitt is a power 5 conference team and can recruit nationally. Get on board.

He seems like a poor man's version of the kid we got from Florida. I don't think we would take 2 smaller lb types in the same class.

I wouldn't bury the kid yet. We all said the same thing about Aaron Matthews last year. I think Robinson is the most underrated kid in western pa. Big miss imo.
