I think fatigue had as much to do with it as anything.
Notre Dame only plays 7 guys, and KY wears teams down.
Notre Dame played as good a game as they could play.... and only Brey deciding to go iso on the final three possessions with Grant - a departure from the back door cuts and looking for the best shot that ND did all game long - is what lost them the game.
Brey had a senior-laden team that played very smart. But as a coach, he's very average... and he blew the end of the game.

Agree; I'm disappointed that ND lost (as I picked them to win in my bracket), but UK showed incredible poise for such a young team, to prevail in this game. Of course the Harrison twins were big contributors, and they're the most experienced players UK has.
