If Pitt is needing a FG to win at the end, then this team sucks and I retract my 10 win prediction and make it a 6 or 7 win prediction.

My only fear about this game is about how tight they are going to be due to the coach and media overblowing the hype around it. The only positive I see about it is, the media and coach probably won't be as bad for their most important game of the season two weeks after against UNC.

Im really worried about this one and coming out of September 1-3. I think best case scenerio is we come out 3-1 but i would take 2-2 with 3 home games in october.

Actually... he has missed 5 straight FGs and 7 of his past 10.

So yes.... he HAS forgotten how to kick.

On Saturday my dad just mentioned Carson Long (wide,short) and how he blew a game against PSU. I think he said it was 75.

What a ridiculous assertion.

Tom Brady only saw the field for the first time because Bledsoe got hurt. Until he got into a game situation, Bill Bellichek didn't know Brady was better.

Looking at Pitt... Voytik was the starter opening day last year. If Peterman was better, and he is, why didn't he start right away?

That's just two examples. There are hundreds of cases every year all over the country of a player coming off the bench and proving in game action that he was better than the guy who was starting previously.

In the case of Pitt's kicking game.... we have NO IDEA if the backup kicker(s) are better than Blewitt or not.

If Blewitt keeps blowing it.... we might just get to find out sooner rather than later.
