Him and Morgan freeman. Two best voice actors I can think of.
he was in a few jack ryan movies. his character died in the one with harrison ford killing the irish terrorists.
My favorite his first role in one of the greatest movies ever, lt. Zogg in Dr. Strangelove, what a cast and what a film.
Grew up the only black kid in little Manistee Michigan, an old lumber port in northwestern Michigan. Had such a severe stutter as a kid his high school English teacher spent years outside of school working with him to help him overcome it. That little rural school teacher saw the talent in him and got him started in acting and getting some professional voice coaching. The rest worked out pretty well for him.
RIP to a great one and a real American success story.

I tried to search for it, but wasn't able to find it. If you get TBN, I'm sure it would be on reruns at some point.
Most of those episodes are really good, so if you can record them, I'd recommend it.
I also looked on youtube, and there are lots, but that one didn't show.
