And we wonder why Narduzzi is shifting his recruiting focus. Recruit the elites WPI AL kids and if they go elsewhere, so be it but marginal kids, let them go wherever the hell they want
I guess I missed the part of the tweet where he said he accepted the offer? As I posted earlier, you want to play with the big boys, got to get into some recruiting battles with them and win.
I agree and it will be interesting to see what happens here but I would guess OSU now as well.
Narduzzi and staff have a good relationship with him and Pitt was the clear leader but this offer seems to have changed that. He is interviewed by Mike Vukonan and he talks about moving up his commitment date now that he has this offer. Seems to be OSU lean but who knows maybe I am reading too much into his comments.
Obviously there is some interest by Kradel for Pitt. If I were Narduzzi, I would continue to recruit him until he commits to OSU. If he does, I would stay in contact with him until NLI Day. However, I wouldn't exhaust a lot of energy. I would move on as well...
BTW....24/7 has him 100% to Ohio State.
If you noticed, there is not a lot buzz about Marcus Hooker and Pitt. It's obvious to Narduzzi that Hooker isn't interested and that he's just waiting on his offer from OSU.... Like I posted the other day, he ain't gonna burn energy on local kids that don't seem interested. He wasted a lot of time last year with Jeter and Wade and he ain't doing that again...
BTW....24/7 has him 100% to Ohio State.

And this thread sucks too. The kid got an OSU offer, he was 3 stars, no one paid any attention to him on this board, then a thread about him going to OSU. Good for him, he got an OSU offer, doesnt mean he is going to school there. Maybe he likes to play alot and likes Pitt? Who knows. OSU is projecting him as a center...
Anyways, long way to go to LOI day, the kid will get lots more offers.

It doesn't look good I agree, but you have to fight and win some of these battles. Otherwise keep signing guys like Terrish Webb and hope for the best, which means more 6-6 that may turn to 7-5 if the ball bounces correctly.

Anyone who follows recruiting such as myself looks all over the internet for players and knew about Kradel. When your posts about recruiting generate no interest....you tend to stop posting on that topic.
And why would Narduzzi want Matthews and his 4.95 40 time??? Well because he's a playmaker and proved that his 40 time was not important when he got into camp. Hooker is a playmaker regardless of 40 time and Pitt should be on him.
Yeah but they are not and they didn't offer him so weird that you say he's not interested when it's the exact opposite.
Hooker timed a 4.8+ at Pitt's camp. Matthews is about 5 inches or so taller and has a larger frame.
I didn't say Hooker wasn't interested....Pitt's not interested and I don't get it. The kid makes plays against top competition...sign me up for that when it comes to college ball.
Mathews ran 4.6 at Pitt camp and was offered and committed to Penn state. Hooker doesn't have an offer
They might have waited too long. If they offered right off the bat, he would have signed. I still think it's 50/50 between Pitt and tOSU.
Matthews is a playmaker? Based on what? His 5 catches for 30 yards last year? We know he can block. Time will tell if he's s playmaker.
