Good for him, seriously. This temple isn’t your older brother’s temple or your younger uncle’s Temple. They are decent.
I’d like to see pitt play them.

Although we sure looked like Old Temple in that bowl game. (Wait a minute--Old Temple wouldn't have been anywhere near a bowl game . . . )
If so, good for him but I really can't believe it. Per a few people on the Lair, Pitt was doomed to the eternal suck for not signing him.
Our luck, he chose temple because they promised to keep him at DB and not linebacker.

Sam Franklin (three-year starter who we lose) was essentially deployed as a hybrid safety/linebacker. I can see Raines sliding into that role, but he'll likely have to sit out the upcoming season.
I honestly think many WVU fans would agree that this was a kid our coaching staffs sorta messed up. Kinda pulled him in different directions (position-wise), made some promises, etc. MANY times these issues originate from the player but not sure this is the case with Raines. Thinking this is on WVU. Won’t be surprised if he succeeds in North Philly.
Who knows. I'm left to wonder who got in Sean Ryan's ear--he would have had a huge season at Temple this year, considering that he had already established himself. Alas, he transferred to Morgantown, and the playing time he would have gotten went to Jadan Blue instead . . . and Blue took the opportunity to set school season receiving records. (Hey, it Ryan got a waiver, maybe Raines can get one.)
