Lady Panthers get a PG transfer

Checked her bio. Sounds pretty good. 4 years with Canadian National Team. Best games were against US. True point guard, something we don't have. A true freshman. Stated reason for transfer was to get closer to home - Ontario.

I believe the lady gamecocks are rated number 2. Staley has really turned around the program

A point guard with more turnovers than assists, she'll fit right in! :p

Seriously though, I have no idea if she's a good player or not, but the Pitt women could certainly use some better play from the point.

They also got a commit from a 5 star PG for next season. Scored 18 in a game against Team USA.

Seems strange to me. I may be wrong, but I thought we already had a PG committed for the next class, which next season would already give us at least 4 PGs (Bugg + Walsh + Gordon + Freshman).

So now, we will have 5 PGs on the team but still no players over 6-2?

If we were getting a 6-4 transfer, I'd be fired up...

Go Pitt.

Jasmine Whitney from Virginia.

The only thing I'd say is that maybe the plan is to move Bugg back to the two guard. She was much better last year as a two than she has been this year as a one, maybe the thought is that she'll be a more effective player going forward if she isn't responsible for handling the ball all the time.

She was a true freshman on the #2 team in the country. Being groomed to take over next year. What's so hard to understand. Look at her high school career and understand why South Carolina recruited her in the first place. Don't you think that Susie knows point guards. Her recruitment and getting post players is not mutually exclusive.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that after listening to SM-S talk about it just a few minutes ago that Whitney and Colley are the point guards of the future.
