Honestly, when I heard tickets were being returned, I thought 1,000 or something meaningful. When it turned into 56, I thought maybe they should have just bought them, taken them to an alumni tailgate, distribute and not make a big deal out of it.

So the guy I was sitting next to at the game ( who was a great guy and PSU Alum ) joked during a low point of game and pointed to a tiny section of empty seats and said those must have been the ones returned to Pitt. I then said it was really weird to hear that. He said the tickets were likely $52 per ticket X 56 tickets for a total of $2,912. He then went on about how Penn State was cutting way back on everything because of the lawsuits, scoreboard, coaches salary. " we are Penn State and we are concerned about $2,912 ? ". His concern was that in years past, they have such a surplus they can pretty much do anything they want financially compared to the vast majority of programs. He was going on about a lot of upgrades they are doing have bells and whistles but not really bricks and mortar. They are in a really tricky place with Franklin because if he doesn't work out, they don't have a loaded elephant gun to land the best coach out there. It's going to be a lower coach wanting a big shot.

Maybe there is some concern out there if you are returning $2,912 worth of tickets.

There's only one coach out there that would scare me if Penn State hired him.

Tom Herman at Houston.

Sleep well, Bro.....

Tom Herman is going to LSU....or Florida State if Fisher moves

He would not be so stupid as to take that job when far better options will be available.
