I mean, yeah, anytime you ignore all the reasons you lost, I suppose you could "feel good" about how you played.

I thought PSU was CFP good last year and considering how we played against them, I was actually encouraged after that game

I think Pitt with a “good” QB is 8-5 again last year but there was no way they were winning that game unless something bizarre happens. Field position alone would have been difficult to overcome.

We won the majority of the snaps in both games but they had more explosive plays. Fortunately we held on in 2016. They have more talent due to much better recruiting. That translates into big individual plays. We need more kids making big plays tomorrow. Just outplaying them for 3 quarters won't cut it. See App. St. last week.
