Glad we are back in the win column. I have some immediate thoughts after a much needed win:
- We are obviously not better with out Dunn or Lowe but we definitely play more like a team.
- It's a really bad look for Capel that Delalic and Cummings looked so good in basically starters minutes. They very clearly can contribute and there doesn't seem to be a reason why we had losses where they had limited minutes.
- Leggett hasn't always been good this year but he was absolutely awesome in this game. 21 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, 6-11 from the field, 2-2 from three, and 7-7 from the line. Big time performance.
- Austin also had a good game. Double double while efficient from the field and line.
- This team wanted it more. You saw it in the rebounding.
- Whether Lowe plays or not, and yes I'm going to do this, you have to beat Cuse. I know the chances of the tourney aren't great but it is still possible. Beat the orange, get to 16-10 and 7-8 in the conference and you suddenly have something to play for. If they can then win 4 of theirs last 5, they might actually have a chance at 20-11 12-9 in conference.
