Well, a win is a win. And it's always fun to beat Cuse. Some thoughts:
- I still don't understand how college basketball players are heavy like Lampkin. What a big boy he is. He had 8 less rebounds than our entire team.
- Lowe missed three FTs which is very uncharacteristic of him but He really came through at the end. I'm still not sure what is going on with his three point shooting. 3-18 over his last 4 games.
- Good Corhen game. Gave up a lot of size but lead the team in rebounds. I thought he was fouled a few times on misses near the rim that weren't called.
- Austin with another 5 Stocks today. Almost double the entire Cuse team.
- Leggett still forces it a bit too much for me but you can't argue with 6-11 from the field and 2-2 from the stripe.
- I still think our biggest issue, other than rebounding, is that nothing seems to come easy on offense. We got a lot of good individual penetration but we still don't have much of a plan if a pick and roll doesn't' work.
- Pitt is now 8th in the ACC as of the time this game ended. Obviously we could do well to boost our resume if we beat UNC this week.
