Learned something new...

Marquette has the third biggest hoops budget behind Kentucky and Duke, and that job is more desirable than Indiana
No, you learned that Doug Gottlieb said that job is more desirable (I heard the same interview). Not the same thing.

I mean Marquette can pay as much as anyone and its easier to win in the Big East at Marquette than a lot of places including Indiana.

I head Dan Patrick as well, Clay Travis and others the last few days , so I attend to believe that more than I don't

I read an article in a Dallas paper that TCU isnt really getting what its paying for and while Dixon has elevated the program, its not at the level they hoped.
no way??? You mean they didn't bring Jamie in to be a doormat in that league, while other new Big12 coaches have had more success than him? Any word he's leveraging that 8th place finish for another raise?

Hey when Dixon gets canned, after next season, can we please bring him back and start another 4 to 5 years of excuses , on the EXCUSE BOARD LAIR

He can't build. College landscape has made it tough for coaches to retain players.

Don't be silly. He wants the UCLA job, just like Ben Howland did.

Like I mentioned in another post about Marquette. They will be looking for another head coach 5 years from now.

I’ve heard Tom Crean there, as amazing as it sounds. Seems to be some steam here. I wouldn’t kick the tires on him if I was Marquette as he hasn’t been a “hot commodity” in some time and they can surely do better.

When I hear "Tom Crean", I think of the Harbaughs...

And then I 🤮

We had like no transfers under Dixon. Different times then. In this era of mass transfers, I don't think Dixon would have nearly the amount of success.

that's what I'm saying.. with the new transfer rule, he can't make it work.

his only tourney team was with the other guys players. Since then...doormat. The game passed him by several years ago and its even worse for him now. I love the man. He's a legend and an icon here. But he would never succeed at a program like Pitt again.

People killed me for this but I really thought he inherited a lot of talent there. Juniors and seniors who were pretty good. He did bring in that assistant who brought that PG Fisher as a package deal and got lucky with that PF lottery ticket so he made them better but he inherited more underclass talent than he left.
