This is as vulnerable as they are ever going to be for sure. Not since the Matt Doherty days have they had this bad of a start.
I'll settle for playing well. If we play well, we will have a chance to win in Chapel Hill. Usually if we played well in Chapel Hill we hoped to stay within 15 points. Opportunity knocks, we have to answer!

This UNC team is BAD.
It will be a very close game and could go either way. I don't see either team taking any kind of substantial lead on the other.
While Pitt could lose to anyone, could they not beat anyone too, especially with how random things are in CBB this year?
Sure, they’ll likely lose more than they win in conference still... but FSU and Rutgers are good wins. And they hung with Louisville til the collapse in the 2nd half.

Roy Williams is such a fraud and a coward. Here's his team this year:

Their reserve guards are two seniors who transferred in from William & Mary and GA Southern.
Roy's "least talented team ever" has about the same recruiting profile as Tony Bennett's national championship team. It's ridiculous and pathetic that he can't get more out of them. It says so much about him that he feels like he can't win with a starting 5 made up of top 70 players, 3/5 of whom are upperclassman. Just downright embarrassing leadership from him.

Whether it's just me being a Pitt fan and typically/usually dreading the worst, I hope this doesn't light a huge fire under their a**es and UNC shows out tonight. Pitt can win this game tonight. No letdowns and be engaged for a full 40.
I agree El Salvador. Hoping we come out strong like we did against Wake and finish this time. I am just hoping Bacot and Brooks don't eat Brown and Hamilton alive. Guessing we may go zone alot tonight and force them to shoot to beat us. They are shooting 30.6% from 3 as a team and Anthony was @ 35.5 and Harris was shooting 42.9% the rest of the team shoots 28.5% from 3.
But a lot of those guys were misevaluated. Besides Cole Anthony, UNC only has 1 NBA player on their team and thats Bacot and he's a frosh who will be up and down. I cant remember a less talented UNC team.
Unc is not any good but I worry with all this bad pub about their start it will be an ultra motivated type of scenario. Roy gives them the “if you’re tired of the press go out and prove them wrong” rally speech. I know it may sound silly but college teams can sometimes be hard to motivate. As previously posted this team does have more talent than they record they just aren’t playing well. I’m on UNC in the first half. Hope I’m wrong.
You're proving my point. Why does UNC need Roy Williams if Roy Williams can only win with NBA players?
I have always said he wasnt a good coach and is just a Mark Gottfried/Lorenzo Romar with better players.
This is the year to get them. Next year's class is a monster. I don't think Williams is a great coach, but, coming out and saying this is the least talented team he has ever coached, has sent a message to his kids for sure. I wish he would have waited until after tonight to come out with that revelation.

What a shocker....SMF with 20 posts today marginalizing UNC. So if we get a huge program win and beat them, it'll be 'no big deal', but if we lose, it'll warrant another 'sky is falling' diatribe.

It would be great to beat UNC but they are no more talented than Syracuse, GT, heck maybe even BC and Wake. They arent good.
