Time for the Panthers to step up and play their best basketball of the season and get a good seed in the NCAA tourney. Have Young and Artis play like Young and Blair of yesteryear. Have Jones go on a roll for the rest of February and March. Look back at pulling out the Wake Forest game as the turning point. Carrier might be leaving for Mexico, so lets the Pitt cagers leave with a victory.

I thought Carrier was bought long ago and has only small facility in Syracuse.

The Cuse has always been the cure for what ails Pitt. Will be interesting to see if that holds true and if this team got a little emotional kick out of that victory the other night as poorly played as it was.

When I saw this thread... I was thinking the OP was gonna be saying that we should lose our last five games in a row and continue the streak that we started last season, losing our last five games in a row.
Well, this year it would be the last six games in a row.... the last five regular season games and then the opening round in the ACC Tourney. I would think with that we would not only not get an NCAA bid, we would not even get an NIT bid.... and the players or the admin would reject a CBI bid. So, would only end the season on a six game losing streak.
We will see.... but given Dixon's history of choking in the end.... we should not be surprised if this happens.
But, if he wins 3 of the next six... still a good chance of getting an NCAA bid. We will see but I am not gonna hold my breath.
I think Dixon is tired of coaching at Pitt and would just as soon get himself fired and then live off the guarantee in his contract.
