Shocky Jacques-Louis
All-star team: South
School: Dunbar
Position: The speedy receiver finished with 45 receptions for 652 yards and six touchdowns for the Tigers, which went 8-4 and reached a regional semifinal. Recruiting skinny: The three-star recruit de-committed from Kentucky and Tennessee in the last six months. However, he may be coming back around to Kentucky, a program he said “was consistent with him even when I was inconsistent with them.” After taking an official visit to Pittsburgh last weekend, he said he has the same feeling about the Panthers. “They were persistent even when I kept blowing them off,” he said. “That’s what I’m looking for – someone to be honest with me. It’s hard to find.”
Jeshaun Jones
All-star team: South
School: South Fort Myers
Position: Wide receiver
2017 accomplishments: A threat anytime the ball is in his hands, the receiver caught 30 balls for 359 yards and three touchdowns as South Fort Myers won a District 7A-12 title and qualified for the state playoffs. He also finished with 1,212 all-purpose yards and four rushing touchdowns. Recruiting skinny: The 3-star recruit visited Pittsburgh over the weekend and has already been on officials at Maryland, Tennessee and Iowa State. Jones, who plans to enroll early, is hoping to set up a last official at Nebraska before making his final decision and signing on Dec. 20.
