I remember the local media being all over us when our ex-mascot/4th string punter kneeled for the national anthem. PSU players had some prominent players wearing t-shirts, which were very topical/newsworthy in today's times but nope, Pittsburgh media wont touch it.
This isnt meant as a thread to agree or disagree with the shirts or PSU's response. I just wanted to bring up that I was very surprised that in today's environment, that situation quashed as if it never existed. You would think the struggling newspaper industry would at least try to get some mileage out of that.
