10-8 Q1/2. Above .500 there isnt something most bubble teams have.

They should have been in but I am thrilled they arent. I dont think the 4 Q3 losses should have kept them out. Its Q3, not Q4 and they won more Q1/2 than most.

It's definitely weird that the committee is cool with basing so much of their data off November results yet they cited an injury as part of the reasoning for Rutgers to not get in... and then they didn't seem all that swayed by conference tournament results (Duke still a 5, PSU still a 10, A&M still a 7, etc.).

They seem to pick and chose when recency bias matters and when it doesn't.

PSU went from an 11 to a 10 by going 3-1 in the B10T. Pitt dropped the equivalent of 1 seed line by losing to Duke

Too funny!

That's my point. The tournament didn't seem to help them much. Beating three teams who are solidly in the tournament and then coming within 2 points of a 1-seed obviously didn't do much for their seeding. So why should an injury affect Rutgers getting in or not? We're either looking at the entire body of work and ignoring everything else or we're not.

Maybe PSU was first four out before the tourney…

I dont like PSU but they deserved to be much higher. I dislike Rutgers almost as much and had them pretty solidly in. I had Clemson and OK St in. Nevada and NC St out......but NC State and Nevada both had 0 Q3/4 losses. I was going by who you actually beat not you who lost to. Rutgers @ Purdue. Clemson over NC State × 3. That carried the day for me.
