Looks Like Biz is Okay

This is very important news. If we are going to lean on the drop back pocket passer and plan to deeper (thus, later-developing) routes, consistency at the tackles is most critical.

Just hope he isn't only 60% physically or such, and they're still using him because even that is still the best option. It sure looks like that is what we're doing with Rowell. That won't bode well for the player (staying healthy) or us.

Great news ..... Biz should help .... Iowa is a big game for Narduzzi and Pitt .... we need to WIN these type games !
Agree....the BIG BUZZ is that "BIG BIZ" & BOOKERS ENDS will Help "O'NAIL" WINg It For PITT a Closer WIN at Iowa!

If Coaches use Voytik Right, he runs all game long behind this Pitt OFFENSIVE LINE, and Boyd, Orndoff and Holtz keep it close, and Pitt Defense plays good enough for a close WIN!

Just A Hunch!

interesting take. i'm hoping nate can hit some big plays in the passing game and we escape with a win. running the ball this week will be a lot harder with Ollison, James and Hall.

Ollison, James (who was out last week), and Hall have already faced a very stout defense against the run, in terrible conditions. Akron, although they are a MAC vs. a B10 team, has a very good run defense. Oklahoma ran for 100 yards on 33 carries, while PITT managed only 128 yards on 47 carries. The addition of Chris James back to the rotation should provide a bit of a spark to the run game against Iowa who PITT found some room against last year; running the ball for 185 yards, with most of those yards by Conner.

Big plays by Peterman AND Voytik will be needed in this game, whether through the air or using their legs. Last year, PITT outplayed Iowa in almost every category with the exception of finishing. Settling for field goals inside the red zone, turning the ball over on downs at the Iowa 29...
