Nah. He’s does no coaching. Team is completely undisciplined, and way too often looks like they are going through the motions
I mentioned this in the game thread, but Capel either completely mismanaged this game or did not trust his bench enough to compete with an 11-15 ACC team. It’s a damning indictment on his tenure.
Capel is not a good coach. He allowed a bad team to score 46 points in the second half with a poor defensive effort all the way around. That's why we lost.

I think that's our ceiling this year. Maybe get a win in the ACCT to make it 19. But that's it.
How can 'Ville go from worst to top 2 teams in the ACC in a matter of a couple of years while Pitt has had 7 years under Capel and we're mired in the bottom tier of the ACC? Maybe it has something to do with coaching???????
Could this talented team be losing intentionally? If they are suppose to be talented, why do they lose big time to less talented teams, they looked lethargic in their loses to teams that they should have beaten. Just sayin. It’s happened before elsewhere
Really baffling and just plain stupid, especially with the lack of effort being shown on so many defensive possessions.
After listening to Capel's postgame and his comments today, it is quite apparent he is content with the inmates running the asylum.
So, he has built a roster of miscreants and he had to have known since he doesn't seem surprised by the outcome. Truly disturbing.
Better coaches, but not better players. Heck, they were missing 2 guys.
