Louisville just played back to back games here and at Miami. I know that comparing game results is not necessarily useful, but here it is anyway. ( I didn't see the Miami game, just going by the box scores.)
Louisville's numbers in both games are very similar - points scored, rebounds, turnovers, shooting percentages. They did shoot 3's better against Pitt. Statistically Miami and Pitt defended Louisville about the same.
The difference between the games is that Miami's offense was better than Pitt's, particularly 3-point shooting was 8/11 and only 7 turnovers. They scored 15 more points than Pitt did.
If this means anything for the season going forward, it seems to confirm the notion that Pitt needs to play well offensively in order to win. The defense was as good as Miami's, in this comparison at least.
