Louisville will not make the NCAA Tournament. Do you agree with me or not?
Maybe Payne is not a good HEAD coach, but he was a highly respected assistant at Kentucky and
got a big salary to move up to the Knicks. His forte was developing individual players ( Julius Randall
and M. Robinson as examples ). I’m not an expert like you guys but I wouldn’t bash him so much

All he has to do is CEO and recruit enough dudes. They are gonna keep raking on th recruiting trail with possible Duke decommit very soon.

You know this is Louisville right? They are a brand and have NIL money. They dont need a HC who cant coach but can recruit. They need to hire a real coach and the NIL money can do the recruiting. Payne isnt going to work out there, I am sorry to say.

He is maybe one of the worst coaches ever. Duke and Kentucky missed the NCAAT in eras when freshmen mattered and actually made a difference. Its unbelievable you think his group of a freshman plus a really had transfer PG who had an asssit to TO ratio of 1:1 is going to make the NCAA Tournament. They simply are not going to be able to beat 23 year olds from Pitt, Wake, NC State, VT, Clemson consistently enough. This isnt the Fab 5.

Another will be NC State if Keatts doesnt screw them up too bad. Payne isnt beating out Pitt, Wake, VT, Syr, etc for that last ACC 12 bid. You are delusional.

Louisville will have a new HC by the 2027 season. They should be a Top 20 program with all the support they get.
Duke, UVa, and UNC (assuming Hubert doesnt blow it again) are getting in. The ACC still isn't too good and wont get more than 6. You do the math.
Miami is in. NC State you never can be too sure but they never lack talent and older talent. Not many bids left for your boy.
We’ll see. It’s a long way from 4 wins to an NCAA tournament birth, even with a watered down ACC. It’s not like it’s some unattainable mark but my money’s against it. Bunch of 18 year old prima donnas just looking to do their one year penance and showcase their individual game + weak inexperienced coach = not much.
Other than older kids, not much of a difference than when Capel was coaching for his job this year. If this were the ACC of old id think not, but coaching 1 and dones is more in his wheelhouse than guys like El Ellis.

Its not Kentucky/Duke territory. That is landing #1, 3, 5, 10, and 12. They have #17, 58, 62, and 72. That isnt anywhere close to UK/Duke territory. That's Willard/Cummings/Blount territory. I'm in amazement that you think the worst coach of all time is going to lead a bunch of non-McD AA freshmen to the NCAA Tournament.

Their 3rd string PG who is a head case leaving doesn’t change their trajectory. They will either win or lose based on whether Nolan Smith and co can get these guys to play together
