Any thoughts on Luke Getsy for OC???? He is a Steel Valley guy and has had success at both th collegiate and pro levels! Great guy from a great family!!! Enough experience???

I have a feeling it will be Alex Van Pelt. I heard he was going to talk to Buffalo but I don't think Narduzzi would be waiting this long if it was a college guy.

Need an established, experienced OC who can install an offense and coach Qbs. A tall order but needed with duzzi not having any offensive experience.

I'm gonna wait till about week 5 before I say good or bad hire. I was way off on the Canada hire, so my opinion is garbage.

it makes more sense it will be a college guy given the fact that it has lasted this long. means that they are playing the old game of wait until after NSD to announce what coordinator is leaving or staying. Really not a fan of programs doing this; pretty deceptive and selfish of the coaching staff of the schools that the coordinator is leaving only so they don't impact their own recruiting class.

37, agree on all.

Looks like we just picked up another offensive recruit,so I'm ok waiting for an OC

He is a very talented, young coach. I sat next to him at the Fiesta Bowl we played in, and that was after he transferred. He is still a Pitt man in my eyes.

If Getsy is as talented and innovative as people claim he is he might want to look to go elsewhere soon. Another year like this year and the Packers may clean house. They win in spite of their coaching staff (mainly McCarthy's play calling and defensive scheming) and can't afford to keep wasting the back half of Rodgers' career. Injuries played a big role in their defeat yesterday but the defensive game plan was as bad as the Steelers. Mike McCarthy was directly responsible for their loss against the Seahawks in the championship game a few years back. Good thing Rodgers got the ring already as the Packers are starting to resemble Marino's Dolphins.

I'm not saying he'd be a great fit here but I think he has a very bright future ahead of him.

if he wants to be a college oc, he needs to work at a lower level and prove himself. its that simple.

He could probably land an OC gig at a higher tier G5 program and work his way up if he wants to work at the college level. I don't think he is a candidate for a P5 OC job. Taking a positional coaching job in college would be a step back.
