I've been eyeing Shea Ralph, current UCONN asst and former Pitt asst. Only downside is that she has no HC experience.
To her advantage she's an assistant to one of the BEST head coaches at one of the BEST WBB programs, I'm sure she will do well as a head coach.

Firing a coach with massive salary is insane in non revenue generating sport. Let it ride out to end contract.
SMS needs to update her resume, she wont be at Pitt much longer. It seems that we finally have an AD who cares about winning
One of? He's the best coach, and they're the best program by a thousand miles. They just played the defending champs, and blew them away like they were some team out of the MAAC.
and that hasn't gone well for some of his former assistants. Chris Dailey has never left his side in 25 years for a reason. She would be at a good cost, that's for sure - and who doesn't want to play for someone who was an amazing high school player (I recall watching her, her junior year in NC and thinking wow this kid is good), astonishing college player and has a ton of assistant coaching years under her belt. She has more name recognition nationally than SMS.
