by AD, Lyke. That makes
three head coaches let
go recently by Lyke. All
three were given several
years to do something
with their programs. All
three delivered losing
seasons while at Pitt.
Say what you want about
Lyke, but it's pretty clear
she expects coaches to
produce winning records.
You don't win, you're
gone. I have no problem
with that.

I never understood why
the previous softball coach
was let go. She did win.
Maybe something more
with that?

Given she's whacking all of the coaches she's hired - I think she needs to hit on these next set of coaches.

She does have a few
doing ok, women's
soccer, wrestling,
baseball. Then there's
the elephant in the
room, Capel. He still
has a lot to prove.
As for me, I'm hoping
he's turned things
around. One year of
success is not enough.
The two best, Fisher
and Vidovich were not
hired by Lyke., neither
was Narduzzi, who is
pretty firmly established
here at Pitt.
