I know it has been rumored, but would be a major bummer if so. I didnt see on twitter - where did you see it?

Pitt committ DE Brandon Mack opens up his recruitment
Kinda stinks. It's like we complain about stars and then the ones rated incorrectly that Pitt identified early look elsewhere...hopefully hcpc keeps them...doubting it

Numerous outlets

Ole miss, Mizzou, nebraska.

Highly unlikely now. This kid would have been big for Pitt's D.

Here’s what bothers me. He committed awhile ago. He’s had offers for awhile. It’s a bit of a dick move to go looking around now, when the early signing period is almost here.

Just how Southern recruiting works, you need to recruit everyone like they are not committed because no one stops recruiting them and the kids like to take visits.

That's why I say then they commit, it's a commitment, the end, and that's their team.
Top recruits can wait until the end of the process to commit but most have to find a team and a
spot early.
Once you find that team and say ok you're on that team atleast one year when you can opt to sit out a year and transfer.

A 5 month total dick move...

PPL may be surprised but our staff is not as he took an official visit to another school in November. We will keep recruiting him and others. We have lost recruits in the past as all schools do. Michigan just lost their top recruit to Alabama. But we also have benefited by getting kids who backed out from other schools. Kids like Ffrench, Sala & Carter.

Still bagging on Chryst’s recruiting? Have to let it go at some point.

There’s a good reason why Central PA is referred to as “Pennsyltucky”.

Or as another wit said, “Pennsylvania is Philadelphia in the East, Pittsburgh in the West, and Alabama in the middle”.

As someone who has done a lot of traveling for work, I can say it is not even close southern redneck is on a whole other level.

What’s Ohio called? They have just as many rednecks there as PA does.

You’re right to doubt.
Forget that they’re gonzo, you can bet that

I still haven't seen anything confirming Mack is gone. He has been looking around for a while and that is common knowledge. Where is info that he decommitted?

According to Mack, he is still committed although he is taking official visits and is looking around.

Now, with him taking official visits to other schools, I don't really consider him committed. But I guess the fact that he has not technically decommitted is better than the alternative.

But this is not a surprise to the staff. They know he is taking visits and have known for awhile now and they are still recruiting him hard because of it.

He might end up elsewhere but I would not say that is a certainty at this point.

The good news is the Redneck population in the US is growing! in the fly over states between NYC, Philly, PIttsburgh, Hollywood and LA.

Here is a little useless Trivia

For those of you that are fans of last Chance U,

Remember in season 2 from Mississippi CC where the defensive line coach goes home to his Alma mater to give a pep talk to his high school team playing for the Alabama state championship

That high school is Montgomery Lee HS which is where Brandon Mack is from.

For my estimation, Mack would have been in that Locker Room as a freshman or sophomore when that film clip was shown .

Yes I believe he would have been a Soph.

EMCC just won the JUCO title again.

Independence was the team Last Chance U did the show on this year again. They were supposed to have a stacked roster but went 2 and 8. Dude is a horrible coach. They had 2 ex Panthers in WR Flowers who didn’t do much, just a 161 yds on the year. And they had the OL Morgan who was kicked off the Pitt team.

Since Chris predicted, after Koontz decommitted, that we would not lose any other commits, we have lost two: Jackson and Mack.

I think we should urge Chris not to make any more predictions.
