Why? She got recruited over. As soon as Akeo grabbed hold of the lion's share of reps following Levers' injury, this outcome was pretty predictable, seeing as how Lexis is a true freshman and Maddie is a redshirt freshman.

Second from her recruiting class to transfer out - joining Chandler Gorman (Cal Baptist).

Yep, once Lexis won the job as a true freshman and basically played as the only setter all season, this was expected. Will be interesting to see if Kylee will let Fisher go back to playing 2 setters or not.

Perosa probably gets the first crack at it, being a senior and all, but I wouldn't be surprised if Browske takes the job eventually.

They were both introduced as liberos before the NCAA matches. This definitely seems like their weakest position.

A little math: VB had 19 on the roster last fall, has lost 6 players (5 seniors + the transfer) after the end of the season, and only signed one recruit last fall. That leaves VB with only 14 players for next fall.

VB is allotted 12 full scholarships that cannot be shared. Looks like they still may have a little scholarship room to add another player for next year.

They added Hali Hillegas in late January and Sadie Dick in late February last year, something similar could happen this offseason.

They also have a ton of recruits coming in for 2021 (Posada/Fairbanks/Jackson/Klika), so they might be spreading things out some.
