Yep, Temple will be just fine. They get to bank $6.5M and they can move on to their second choice.

I am fine with Diaz becoming their HC. I would be concerned if Mike Leach had been hired. Leach has a place in Key West.
Does Manny have the ability to go from good guy player first assistant (which is how I read him) to leader of the whole program?
I think he would have been better off to get some head coaching experience at Temple, and then come back to Miami. But, Mark's sudden departure didn't give him that luxury.

This looks like a panic hire for a school like Miami- they should be able to hire better than they have.
I was told he wasn't good enough for Pitt. Why would they think he's good enough for Miami?
Actually if they are careful they can build something for 6.5 M.

Interesting so quick. One thing Richt seemed to do there was get more $ and donors poured into fb. The arrow is pointing down there and Diaz was part of that.
