It's just his normal verbal diarrhea. Don't feed the troll. He's a click bait heel. If people ignore him he loses the power over you.

Madden has hated on pickett since the beginning so now he is spiking the ball acting like "I told you so. He sucks." Well pickett might never become elite. He might suck for his career. Who knows. But Madden is just the internet troll that likes to say "first " on discussion topics. But because the "discussion" can only go in one direction (out of Madden mouth) he controls the narrative. So the best thing to do is completely ignore him. He's a performance artist wrestling heel disguised as a "super genius."
Yeah I said this in another thread but the rational Pitt fans for the most part don’t bother engaging with him, for good reason.

Is there another city where the media openly attacks the local college/sports teams and their fanbases like this? I don’t think so.
He has a job because those of us on forums like this forum react to his comments. Click bait is what I think they call it. That’s how he gets paid.
Pitt is uniquely situated in a major city littered with thousands of alumni from two rival schools - one of which is one of the most arrogant and insufferable cult-like fanbases, and the other is one of the most unapologetically vulgar. And a number of the local media types attended both of these schools and openly root for them and openly attack Pitt.
And for the media types who don’t even cover college sports or have no affiliation to any of Pitt/WVU/PSU, they mainly focus on the pro sports teams, largely ignore Pitt when they’re good and make it a point to amplify their voices when things go bad for Pitt.
Yup. And in addition to the alums from nearby universities, you also have several in the local media from other schools (e.g., Syracuse) who are a little further away but aren’t exactly fond of Pitt, either.
It just surprises me because here in Kansas City, you didn’t even hear the media attack KU when they were lousy in football, or Mizzou/K-State in MBB. That’s when I realized our situation might be a little unique.

There is not. You can go to the bank on that. It’s due to the abundance of PSU fans who were born in Allegheny County who are too afraid to roam too far from home to get a job.

What do you mean rasslin ain’t real? Netflix has a pretty good documentary called “Wrestlers” about OVW out of Kentucky. Next tier to WWE and AEW.
But who is he actually winding up? Pitt fans have been wound as tight as you can get for weeks now. It's not like anyone is calling talk shows to defend the program. Heck, it's not even like the Steelers being in the can makes any room for Pitt talk.

Madden and Narduzzi are twin sons from different mothers. 2 wannabe tough guys who constantly run their mouths and produce nothing to back up their BS. At least in Maddens case it's all theater and I don't have to listen where with gym coach Pat I'm stuck if I want to watch Pitt
The best part is that he will go out of his way to find Tweets that mention him (just mention, tagged) and chirp back at them. Screams insecurity.
I routinely see Pitt fans on this board criticize this program more than what Madden just did. Amateur hour from him with this take, he better step it up.
