Williams looks like an excellent option as a return guy at worst.

I would like to see them take another pass rusher at DE. Palmer gets good pressure from the edge, but Morgan looks more like a guy that they will bulk up to move inside.

Honestly.. he is rated the #35 CB in the nation at a 5.7, that is pretty darn good. He is slightly built, so he will be in there for his coverage skills and speed/quickness. Always a place for that kind of ability on the team.

Watched his HUDL video. Based on that I believe he will spend more time as a kick returner and a slot receiver on offense than as a DB. Has great speed but looks too short to cover 6-3, 6-4 WRs in college.

Agreed and it will be really important to see what happens with the defense under HCPN. I'm not sure his approach and scheme will work in a league where there is a lot more QB/WR talent and spread looks, so if he is going to live and die by that approach it has to show a ton of improvement this year or we might never see us take a next step, unless he relents on his scheme.

Of course I could be wrong. Just giving my personal opinion colored by a general dislike of seeing shorter DBs getting out jumped for balls by tall receivers--especially in the end zone.

I think folks thought he was overrated as the #1 corner (that includes me). After watching Mathis hudl I was intrigued to see who would have the better career at corner and end up being the better player. Still am.
