Spoke to Jalyn late last night and he confirmed that Capel and Milan Brown came to see him. That impressed him, and a meant a lot. However, he told me that he did not play well and was hoping that they were staying to watch him again today. Still waiting to hear if that happened or not.
How much does it mean? We will see. May never know. Milan Brown has put a lot of time in on him recently, so I doubt one poor game would be the difference between an offer or not.
Also, just because Jalyn felt he didn’t play well doesn’t mean that he did struggle. Maybe he has high expectations. Or often times coaches can see things in a kid no matter how they play.
