Is this a lotto ticket or a guarantee?
Is this a lotto ticket or a guarantee?
Why would it be a guarantee? Its a classic lottery ticket. Everyone wins at Murray State and then some move on and win and some dont
Scott Edgar - fired by Duquesne
Mark Gottfried - fired by Alabama
Mick Cronin - ding, ding, ding
Billy Kennedy - fired bt A&M
Steve Prohm - fired by ISU after going full Stallings
Thanks for playing the Murray State Head Coaching Lottery.
What don't you understand. The majority of MM coaches fail at the P6 level? Would you disagree with that? You have about a 25% chance of hitting on a MM guy. They are a lottery ticket. A guarantee is hiring an established P6 coach. I realize most programs can't pluck a P6 coach but I'm just telling you like it is. MM coaches dont work out very much.Everybody is a lottery ticket until they aren’t. Your premise is so stupid.
Kevin stallings was an established P6 coach. Guess that was better than a lottery ticket. What don't you understand. The majority of MM coaches fail at the P6 level? Would you disagree with that? Do I really have to say that the established P6 coach cant be a career mediocre coach who was getting fired? Really? I mean we cant just assume that? Dear Lord.Kevin stallings was an established P6 coach. Guess that was better than a lottery ticket.
Every coach starts out as a lottery ticket. Where do you think successful P6 coaches come from. There is a profoundly small number of coaches that are actually guarantees. But hyperbole is your thing so you do you.Do I really have to say that the established P6 coach cant be a career mediocre coach who was getting fired? Really? I mean we cant just assume that? Of course they do. And 75% fail. Pitt has a 25% of hitting on one.Every coach starts out as a lottery ticket. Where do you think successful P6 coaches come from. There is a profoundly small number of coaches that are actually guarantees. But hyperbole is your thing so you do you.
What are you calling success? Top 25? Competing for a FF? Making the tournament x times every 5 years? Because depending on your metric plenty of “guarantees” fail too.Of course they do. And 75% fail. Pitt has a 25% of hitting on one.
In fairness to SMF, aren’t they all lottery tickets?Give him three or four years and he'll get back to you on that.
So was Capel.Kevin stallings was an established P6 coach. Guess that was better than a lottery ticket.
They are. But that’s the point SMF is making. In fairness to SMF, aren’t they all lottery tickets?
